I think soul exchange happened to my daughter aged almost 12 during an appendix op. Potted version of events: personality change, depression, self harm, multiple suicide attempts, psychiatric hospital multiple times, anorexia. Destroyed photos of early life, distance from family, all of the stuff in the main article.

Now almost 20, has changed name legally to male, birth cert changed and transitioning to male. 

Just a couple of days ago, I had a revelation and the concept of soul exchange came into my mind. Had no idea what it meant but did some research and it has led to this website. 

It explains so much of what has happened. We have embraced this new soul into our family and there is great peace in our lives. We didn't freak out when the name and gender change were announced. We hope that we are the right hosts for this lovely soul.
