HI Open, Watching your video literally transported me back into the experience of the retreat— not just the moments, but the pure energy of it. The aliveness. The connection. The depth. The movement. The feeling sense of all of it unfolding again.

There is something profoundly moving and extraordinary about the way you’ve captured our experience in video. You didn’t simply document what happened — you truly captured its essence, it's soul.

I felt it all over again watching this. It activated something in me that I had forgotten was there, and brought me back into contact with the MAGIC of life, and of what we created and experienced together.

When the video showed the moment of us dancing to Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For,” I was transported to the very moment I first witnessed my 12 year old daughter onstage hip hop dancing a solo performance to this very song, to over 600 people. She danced as if no one were watching, without an ounce of self-protection, self-consciousness, or fear. She encapsulated BEING the very essence of FREEDOM, JOY and LIBERATION. My heart nearly exploded, tears ran in what I thought then was perceived as pride for my daughter’s expression.

But now….now as the same song played and we danced, and danced, that same feeling flooded every cell of my being, not watching her, but flowing through me, through us…. Wow…wow.

This is it. This IS what we came for!

FREEDOM, JOY and LIBERATION……To EXPRESS it!!!!!

What a gift Open. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for feeling the energy and translating it into something that can now travel beyond the moment itself.

Thank you for giving the experience another life — one that can ripple outward and touch people who weren’t even there.
