Tilly: Openhand Wise Elder

Tilly is Openhand's "Wise Elder" - which is a role reminiscent of the 'Grandmother Medicine Woman' of a First Nations Tribe. Which is a totally appropriate metaphor, because Tilly has phenomenal experience of walking the path, what that actually entails, and a voluminous reservoir of wisdom, from countless varied experiences, trials and tribulations. And, she embodies a profound connection with nature, natural shamanism, and an alchemical First Nations empathy. She's a gifted reader of signs and synhcronicity, how that applies in daily life, but integrating with heartfelt feeling and visioning too. She is a true master of the evolutionary Ascension process.

Having been around since the early conception of Openhand (formerly as Lesley Lord in the 5GATEWAYS film), she has an in-depth understanding of the philosophy - she will often joke how she was the "guinea pig for many of the processes within its early development!" She's served the Openhand in many roles, including retreat centre management, support facilitation, and for several successful years as our community coordinator.

Now, Tilly stands in the place of the Openhand Wise Elder, where she shares her deep knowledge and wisdom with the core team, as and when called upon. For people in the community, she's there to be reached out and connected with if you have any issues or challenges with Openhand - if you need some information, support or advice here or there.

Tilly has a wealth of experience within the Awakening/Ascension arena. Tilly is also known for her broad and colourful experience in shamanism, having trained and developed as a firewalking instructor with Sundoor International, and then subsequently leading many of her own firewalks and sweat lodges over the years, including plenty for Openhand. Her new Zoom "Sweet Lodge" needs to be experienced to be believed!

With her grounded, down-to-earth vibe, yet tuned in with the deep alchemy of shamanism, it is entirely appropriate that she is known as the "Oenhand Wise Elder".
