I'd say understanding the nature of what it means to be an empath or a catalyst is essential to evolving people in society - to get a sense of what blend you might have, how your gift works, and then how best to nurture it.

If you have empathic qualities, then the likelihood is, you'll be picking up energies, emotions and field influxes that can cause your mood to shift on a sixpence. Whereas a catalyst will trigger the energies of another without hardly knowing it. That's why it's good to learn from each other - how we each deal with life's situations.
