Oh, what a surprise it was this morning, to come to the Openhand webside and have the title about greatness in the kitchen catch my attention, to then realise: wait, that's me! 😆

Welcome to Kitchen Adventures with Joy, where recipes are more like guidelines, the end result can be totally weird, and the most important thing is to have fun in the creating...

Is this greatness? It's most certainly a lot of fun - fun all the way, from receiving my weekly delivery of rescued organic fruit and veggies (no food waste!), something that always makes me feel like a child on Christmas Day, with a big box with my name on it and no idea what's in there - because I don't know what will be in the delivery, it's whatever is rescued - to the unboxing and discovery, to then simply sitting back and allowing energies to move and swirl and dance, until Knowing of what dishes to make lands.

It's fun from that creative dance to chopping veggies, which is one of the most grounding experiences for me. (It also pays to be fully present and conscious when futzing around with a big, sharp knife (or the grater. Though the grater usually wins. Ow.))

It's fun from the chopping to the cooking and the playing with ingredients and spices and, "Hmm, I feel like adding this or that to the dish, let's see if it works!"

The taking pictures is fun, and - so fascinating! - while turning on the computer to write a blog is an all but insurmountable obstacle, turning on the computer to edit pictures is, well, fun.

Though I have to say, to me it's less writing a blog and more throwing pictures at the blog and then rambling about what I experienced and how they make me feel.

And so, at the end of the day, Kitchen Adventures is a whole lot of fun, an incredibly creative process from start to finish, and an amazing way to ground all those dancing, swirling energies.

And I gotta say, that? Is great. 😄
