Hi Zoe,

It's a tough one for sure - I've been asking similar questions for years now. All I can really say is this - if you keep asking the questions and feeling into how to be in amongst all the appointments and expectations/responsibilities, eventually your life will create around that. Perhaps to create a situation with more flexibility and flow of soul in it. But, to do that you have to be that first. You have be prepared to challenge the status quo and all the 'shoulds' that having kids who grow up in simulation environments like school brings with it. You gradually chip away and your life changes accordingly.

So, what is your soul calling for in those moments?

I'm totally with you that being in the relationships is a challenging and powerful way to spiritual evolution. I like the Ram Das quote: "If you think you're enlightenened, go spend a week with your family." But also, when buttons are pushed, that's exactly the mirror we need to turn into.

When it comes to being more aligned in interactions with others, I've noticed if I'm trying to analyse what the reflections are with the lower mind, I miss the point. Instead, get into the triggering and process it, then ask what energy I feel to express and work to express it as accurately and empoweringly as possible. Over time that has built up a kind coherency when interacting. I big part of Gateway 2 is in interupting the immediate reactivity, so you fully feel into the moment, but also get to chose how you respond.

Happy to explore further if you want.
