It's utterly amazing how subconscious resistance to change is so often buried in the psyche. It's because Homo sapiens is hard-wired for comfort and safety, which leads to inertia. You see a mountainous obstacle or difficulty (changing a job, ending a relationship or changing locations) and the subconscious often tends to retract, providing a thousand reasons why not to follow that path - including spiritually correct ones!

However, if you recognise the inner pull, or the flash of knowing, that want you to change, it's essential not to ignore them - they activated for a reason. So can you now hold the possibility of them. The risk is they'll take you into fear, but that's not a reason to stop. Instead, imagine the first step that is beckoning you forward - you don't have to climb the mountain in one leap. Take the small step forwards, and work with the inner resistance - open out through it (applying something like Openhand's Breakthrough Approach). You'll be amazed at how your landscape then changes.

It's something we've expressed in this Openhand video, about taking one small step. See how it might help you change those difficult situations you might be facing...
