I wanted to say thank you for shedding light on a great time in my life when i lived in Kelowna for about 4 years. Despite the unconscious behaviourisms and creating distortions, I managed many times to make the most of that incredible high energy area. I'd never been to that park you hiked, but I have fond memories of hikes with my dog Bear up Knox mountain, one memorable time during a thunderstorm. It reminds me that the environment you're in really does make a difference. It was where i started to explore my spirituality and I can remember some poignant moments when i first started meditating. It felt effortless there; the area is full of magic for anyone open to it. I still consider returning but I am not that young, strong girl with life stretching before her in an endless horizon anymore. I admire your fierce dragon energy, and can relate to the pain of feedback when you express intensity, if that's what you've experienced. Mine being distorted though. Fly free sister. Thank you again for reminding me of where I've been and that where I am now is just as important because it is exposing the baggage I no longer wish to carry.
